Aldo Morgy My first of many Andrew Heath albums and still my favourite. A wonderful optimistic feel about it, the best part of your relaxing holiday.
The artwork in the cd cover is also beautiful, hard to say why when the subject matters are so simple but so pleasing to look at. Favorite track: Caught in Amber.

Scott The Flux giclee print is of high quality, with a genuinely amazing amount of detail on the textured paper. It suggests to me the general idea of a gift; it's also a good summation of the meditative yet imaginative feeling of Andrew's music--it is a gift to the world and I wish him continued success with all of his art (and the same to Zoe as well).

Flux is ambient, lower-case music that continues the journey started by ‘The Silent Cartographer’. Both warmer and darker than its predecessor, there are no beats or percussion - asymmetric loops of processed found sounds pulse to provide rhythmic shift over a bed of processed field recordings and found sounds above which float, half-glimpsed piano melodies and electronic phrases.

It is quiet and immersive but rarely still, always shifting to create new landmarks lit by glitch and inharmonic drift. Tiny details and abstract, organic pin-pricks of sound, emerge and subside in a constant state of flux.

Never have I heard a more intricate yet simplistic ensemble of perfection in sound. It's hard to pick a favorite track on this album, as every single one is it's own masterpiece. I have a huge library of ambient soundscapes and drones, and this is without a doubt the king of them all.
